Team TeraFlex Trail Run Black Rock Canyon

Black Rock Canyon (5) March 21, 2009.

Where: Black Rock Canyon
When: February 21, 2009

If you feel like you have been cooped up long enough, join the club!  It’s time to get out and get some mud and snow on the ole rig. It’s the first trail run of the 09 season, and once again we will attempt the ominous Black Rock Canyon Trail. OK, so maybe its just a dirt road, but it has snow on it!
We plan on getting stuck in the snow, covered in mud, lost, and eating lunch.  Yes, a perfect day.  This is one for about any rig with four wheel drive and some semblance of tread left on the tires.  The trail head will be the turn off to the Pony Express Trail, out by Five Mile Pass.  We will take that long straight Rail Road dirt road south to Black Rock Canyon.  We will attempt to go over the top of the mountain and wind up by Little Moab on the shore of Utah Lake. ( its good to have a goal) It looks like it will be a warm day, so bring on the mud.

We will leave the shop, Teraflex Plus, at 8am, stop at the 4way in Lehi for a few for gas, pick up lunch (if the wife was to mad to make one), and to rally up with those from the south end of the valley.  Then its off to the Pony Express trail turn off, out past Cedar Fort. We should get there by about 9am. Then its game on.

Look forward to seeing all you wheeler dudes again..
