Hello wheeler dudes, Here is the latest on the May 29-30th trail run, Hole in the Rock
We will be leaving the shop at high noon on the 29th. At which time the drive to Lake Powell ( Bullfrog) will Begin. Hopefully we will be able to catch the last ferry across the lake to Halls Crossing. The last ferry runs at 6pm . If we miss it or its full or whatever, we can drive around but its 80 plus miles. The cost for the ferry is $20 each way, We will camp along the trail on our way in, so bring food, water, water ever you would like to help you survive.
The trail is not difficult but it has its moments. It is about 25-30 miles each way, bumpy the whole way so a good suspension will make the trip much more comfortable. I recommend a Teraflex Long Arm kit. … What..? We will be back off the trail late Saturday night. We can stay another night or drive home..The group will decide based on the time we finish the trail. I will post up more info as the plan unfolds.
