11th Annual All Jeep Show
It’s hard to believe the All Jeep Show has come and gone already, but it was sure a blast while it lasted! We had a great turn out, and even though the weather was cold everyone had a lot of fun! Thanks to all the vendors, participants, and spectators who made this show a success! The morning started out pretty cold and wet, but that didn’t stop any of the hard-core Jeepers from heading out to the show! By the time the show got underway we had 62 registered entries and tons of spectators along for the ride! The competition started out by everyone filing through the Off-Road Course at the speed way. The track started with a series of whoops and then banked left to an intense rock pit. The pit was a challenge for many vehicle and it turns out it was a great place to get some awesome flex shots! Luckily no one’s rig was seriously injured in the pit but we had a few close calls, which just makes it that much more fun!
After the pit contestants went up a steep hill climb and back down the other side. This was pretty tricky with it being so steep, and if you weren’t in 4 Low to begin with chances were that you ended up rolling back down the hill and ended up shifting down. After the hill it was over to the RTI Ramp to measure articulation. There were tons of awesome Jeeps with some greaty RTI scores, nevertheless, Rawlin McGhie with his sweet custom-buddy build won the RTI challenge with an amazing score of 958! Nicely done Rawlin!
It took quite a while to get all the rigs through the track, and a few guys even decided to go two or three times. When we weren’t on the track, there were plenty of vendors to talk to. The Utah 4 Wheel Drive Association, Ideal OffRoad, Portal RV/Sorenson & Co., Amzoil, Miller, Novak Adapters, Expedition One, just to name a few! Food and drinks were available, and of course, lots of other Jeep enthusiasts to mingle with!
After the track quieted down, it was awards time! Winners were chosen from several different categories and types. Here’s a list of the winners:
Congrats to all of this year’s All Jeep Show winners! We had a lot of excellent looking rigs!
Along with the All Jeep Show we had a raffle for the benefit of U4WDA. All proceeds from the tickets went towards the group. Hats, shirts, SpeedBump Bumpstops and even a winch were raffled off. Thanks to everyone who participated in the raffle! Remember the ‘Take Back Utah’ parade and rally at the capital on August 28th.
Overall, it was a great success! Thanks to everyone for coming out, despite the cold temps! Thanks again to all of our vendors and Mill Motorsports Park for making the show possible! We can’t wait to see you next year!
