Jason Edie picked up his Silver Beauty from Larry H. Miller in Sandy this past Friday and drove it straight to the TeraFlex PLUS - Jeep Adventure Outfitters shop in Murray. With lower mileage than most of our ages, Jason knew exactly what he wanted to turn this Jeep into.

Jason started out strong with the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Edition with standard features such as power windows and locks, hard top, automatic transmission, etc. And the Navigation System is a technological wonder with GPS, Satellite Radio, USB compatibility, Bluetooth, and it even responds to voice commands! Add to that a TeraFlex JK 4″ Suspension System w/Full FlexArm System and and not only do you have a sweet looking Jeep, you have a Jeep ready for some Moab Wheelin’.
Jason chose 35″ Toyo MT’s on 18″ Helo 842 Rims to dress up the vehicle, and even admitted that they looked better than he had imagined - we agree! Some other mods include: TeraFlex Steering Stabilizer, TeraFlex Rear Bumper - with tire carrier on the way, TeraFlex 3rd Brake Light Extension Bracket, and TeraFlex Grab Handles.

The Mona Pole run provided some light duty wheelin’ and some heavy duty scenery and good times. There were seventeen rigs on the trail. We started out in Mona and headed up the trail to the top of the mountain. The plan was to drive to the top and check out the old mine; it turns out the road to the mine and surrounding area are now posted NO TRESPASSING . Yes, we were denied. Undaunted, we forged onward and stopped at the smaller mine just past the one we had planned to see. When we got close to the top, the rain and light hail hit. Derrin and his team of five kids experienced the weather first hand as they had no top or doors on their JK. They headed back down to avoid hypothermia. The shower only lasted a few minutes and it was “on the road again”. We continued on the dust free trail to the Nebo Loop. We followed the highway back to the Santaquin Canyon road and back to civilization.
The leaves are just starting to turn so if you get the chance, get out and take a look. The mountains and views from the top of Payson Canyon are unbeatable. It was a lot of fun to see it all with a big group of sweet Jeeps and a couple of (glad you came) Toyotas.
Get ready for the big last run of the season. Moab here we come! Plan on coming down on Friday day or Friday night if you can. We will do a night run and then hit it again on Saturday morning. Don’t be afraid to come, regardless of how your rig is equipped. We will run several trails, all of which have bypasses and rating conducive to survival.
