September 20, 2008. Team TeraFlex PLUS will be heading out on another one of our family friendly, scenic trails, the Mona Pole Trail just outside of Mona, UT. This trail only requires 4-wheel drive, rated at a 2, and makes for a quick day trip.
Click here to read about the Mona Pole Trail.
“This will be our last LOCAL trail run of the year. Mona Pole is a 2+ rated trail on the old system. It starts on the Mona side of the mountain and ends up at the top of Payson Canyon. When we get to the top of the trail there is a real cool mine we will explore. It is full of old equipment and such. We will eat lunch at the top and then head back down Payson Canyon, to Payson and back home. This trail is flat gorgeous. A great one to bring the kids, (and the not so excited about wheelin’ wife). We have had a great turnout in the past and hope for the same this year. Bring a flashlight and a jacket for the cave.
We will Leave TeraFlex PLUS at 7:30 AM on Saturday, September 20, 2008 and convoy down. For those that want to meet us in Mona, we will meet just off the Mona Exit at about 8:30 AM. It is also the Exit for the Young Living Farm. The trail head is just past the cement plant East of town. We will leave the Mona exit rally point for the trail at 9:00am. We should be back in Salt Lake by 3 or 4 PM. Hope to see you there !”
