Trained Technicians

Each technician is trained in the latest of auto mechanics, each offering a unique trade or specialty to our team of techs. Get to know a little more about each tech below.

Moises - has over 30 years experience in the automotive industry. Moises has been with us for six years and is our resident expert in driveability, including engines, transmissions and the inner workings of a vehicle. He drives a full size blazer on the weekdays and tinkers with a 1953 Willys on the weekend.

Jay - specializes in lifts and suspensions with the most recent being a handful of JK Wrangler lifts. Jay also does alignments and installs accessories and electronics. He enjoys working on his own cars with dreams of a buggy in the future. Jay has a thirst for knowledge and continues to learn more and more from those around him in the shop.

Bob - has plans for building up his own buggy, but in the meantime he has both a 1980 CJ-7 and a 2001 TJ Wrangler to keep him occupied. Although the TJ is for his wife, he’s already broken it, a couple of times. He is a recent WYO Tech grad specializing in chassis and suspensions and brings with him some of the latest technology in the industry.

Nate - just finished stretching the wheelbase on his 1998 TJ Wrangler making it a trail ready rig with just that little bit of extra length needed between the axles. With an expert knowledge in lifts and suspensions, Nate installs many of the lifts in our shop. He also brings a current knowledge of axle and gear work. Nate is a student at this time trying to find more time to go out wheeling on the weekends.

Travis - will be graduating this spring with an Associates of Applied Science as an Automotive Technician. Travis was wheeling in a Cherokee until recently when he purchased a YJ Wrangler to build up. Just in time for a Thanksgiving run, he converted it to a modified TeraFlex PRO-LCG Suspension System. He brings with him some of the latest and greatest from the automotive world because of his current studies and experience.

Justin - has a slew of Toyotas to keep him happy. Currently he wheels in a 1985 Four Runner with his wife in her custom built 1985 extended cab Toyota pickup, built of course by Justin. He brings with him fabrication experience and is one of the newest editions to the shop. Justin also built his wife a derby car for her birthday which she drove in the Tooele County Fair Demolition Derby and took 2nd place - good driver or good car?? You decide.

Jason - another newby to the shop, Jason is in the final stages of a motor swap in his 1977 CJ-5, he’s wheeling it old school. Jason enjoys wheeling in Utah - but is a big Moab fan as are many of the Techs. He works on a little of everything in the shop- axles, brakes, gears- but specializes in alignments and inspections.
