Little Moab

Little Moab is located in the West Desert and is the perfect playground to test your rig before taking it all the way to Moab.

Here are some photos from our last run to Little Moab.

Mona Pole

The Mona Pole Trail was the perfect family friendly trail for our Saturday trail ride. We all gathered together on a Saturday in July 2006 at the TeraFlex PLUS shop in Murray around 7:30 a.m. The drive to Mona was about an hour long on I-15 Southbound. We took the Mona Exit #233 and followed the signs for the Young Living Family Farm which led us to the Cement Plant there in Mona. From the cement plant we headed South up a dirt trail where we found the trail post for the Mona Pole Trail.

The terrain was slightly rocky and began a slow climb through the mountain, which is where the four wheel drive becomes necessary. You’ll want to watch the heat of your engine because the climb caused a few rigs to overheat. The scenery was lovely with plenty of trees and a canyon feeling. Once at the top of the trail, where the trail forks, we headed left, parked our vehicles, and hiked into an old Silver Mine. It was incredibly dark with cool air so taking a flashlight and maybe a sweater is highly recommended.
