“Here is a link to part of the Delta Utah Cat Canyon trail. It’s kind of a rough one but lots of fun. We will see what kind of rigs are interested in going and run it if there are enough challenged people/ no… people looking for a challenge. The trail is located about 65 miles west of Delta. It’s a long haul so a lot of us will be leaving Friday afternoon and staying at the trail head. There are no camp sites so we will be sleeping in trucks, tents, Jeeps, and weeds. It’s a BYOB (breakfast) event, so make sure you load up on water and enough food to get you through a long day on the trail.
In the event that your rig isn’t “built” enough to survive a 4+ trail (old rating) we will make arrangements to run a more, shall we say, intelligent trail.
I’m thinking we meet at 2:30p.m. and leave about 3:00p.m. Friday afternoon, April 18th from TeraFlex PLUS. That should put us to the trail head of Cat canyon and Chain saw about 7:00 pm. It will take all day to run the trails, so we will get home late Saturday night.
This will be one of the more aggressive trails we will run this year, but it can be done; with a little help from your friends. Come on you can do it.
Built = Lockers (front and rear is best), 35′ tires, winch( don’t stay home if you don’t have one), rock sliders or a total disregard for sheet metal.
Shoot me and Email if you’re planning on coming or if you have questions….. Wood out”

“After talking to Mr. Delta, the Man himself, Mr. Craig Stump, we decided it would be best to meet in Delta at the Fair Grounds. He said we could stay overnight at the fair grounds. Last year we lost a few would be wheeler dudes to the desert. It’s a big desert and finding each other was a problem. (At no time was anyone lost or disoriented. The extended travel option was enjoyed by those without maps). So we’ll leave TeraFlex PLUS at 3:00 pm. Anyone that wants to meet up with us can do the convoy thing, or just meet us in Delta, at the fair grounds, whenever. The fair grounds are the site of the up coming Rock Crawl being put on by Craig Stump and friends May 31. There are fun obstacles to play on there so we shouldn’t be bored.
We plan on leaving the Fair Grounds at 9:00 Sat morning to make our way out to the trail head about 65 miles west of town. There are two sections of the trail. The first will be no problem for anyone. The Upper section is kind of mean so walking or driving will be an option depending on…. the rig, sheet metal, lockers, brains, tire size, anatomy size, and of course peer group pressure. This will be a fun one, what can I say, I’m excited. Wood out.”
Here’s a video to watch of the trail if you’re interested.
